Design methodology and characteristics of a class E autogenerator

Abstract

An autogenerator with an output power of 1 W and an efficiency of 86% at a frequency of 800 kHz is calculated and experimentally investigated. A specific feature of the autogenerator is its low supply voltage and weak dependence of the generation frequency on the supply voltage. The autogenerator demonstrated the main operating features of a class E amplifier and can be used to construct highly efficient energy converters.
