Secondary luminance standard based on a halogen lamp with diffuse
Abstract
For brightness calibration of precision photometric instruments with multi‑element radiation detectors, it is proposed to use emitters based on widely available halogen lamps and opal diffusers in Ukraine. It has been shown that the parameters of the luminance field formed by such an emitter significantly exceed those of ribbon lamps and similar radiation sources. A mathematical framework and an engineering methodology for calculating the developed emitter according to specified parameters are presented, along with recommendations for selecting its main components for specific measurement tasks. Experimental results demonstrate the high stability of the emitter and the high accuracy of its certification when using the domestic luminometer TEC 0693.
